Noveos Practice Manager delivers a complete set of tools to help you manage all aspects of your practice, projects and employees. Now in use by over 250 practices throughout the UK, the system represents a proven, productive solution that will deliver high quality management and control for your practice.
The system’s tools include an extended version of our Job Costing suite that adds fee and cost management facilities alongside our proven and robust time and expenses recording.
Easy to use fee detail and job structure screens make it simple to input fee details for any job. Armed with this information the system provides up to the minute comparison between agreed fees and accruing costs.
The system’s job dashboard provides an at a glance health check on the progress of all active projects with early notification of those projects headed toward or already in budgetary difficulties.
Our pre configured, profession specific versions ensure full and configurable support for your profession’s fees, job structures and terminology including those for Architectural (RIBA) work stages; Consulting Engineer ACE stages; Accountancy services breakdowns etc, without each profession needing to trip over features irrelevant to them.
Quickly augment fee based job management with resource based budgets. Using the minimum of input and maintenance, the system’s budget entry / calculation screens deliver another dimension to project cost control. These same facilities also permit a practice to predict under / over commitment of resources and more effectively plan ahead for their work.
Having immediate access to job costing and job fee agreements, raising fee invoices promptly becomes much easier – with obvious benefits to cash flow. Greater accuracy, backed by the ability to support any claim with detailed time and expense records, reduces the delays from client queries or disputes.
Knowing exactly when and how costs are accrued increases your ability to either control these or seek recovery from the client. This is especially true for practices running ‘fixed fee’ / ‘lump sum’ or other capped fee agreements, where practices typically report an improvement of about 20% on cost recovery through using Noveos Practice Manager
The system’s highly flexible interactive invoicing screen still further streamlines the fee invoicing process. It brings together the benefits of flexible, rule based automation with 100% customisation ability to ensure a really fast, adaptable solution.
To avoid the need for you to maintain separate lists, files and spreadsheets – many of which duplicate information already in Noveos Practice Manager – the system now includes facilities that allow you to harness the it’s powerful database. These include customisation of job fields that permit the extension of the system to record any additional information you need, and a full job notes facility that provides an internal annotation / commenting function that ties these records to individual projects / clients and which are visible to everyone involved with the project or client.
Rather than forcing you to make do with ‘generic’ software, we have produced pre configured versions, focused on the needs of professional practices operating in specific sectors. This reduces the initial setup time and ensures the language and concepts used are familiar and relevant to the way you work.
Our pre-configured versions include Construction to meet the needs of Architects, Consulting Engineers, Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Environmental Consultants and Planning Consultants;
Accountancy – meeting the needs of Accountants, Auditors and Insolvency Practitioners;
Management consultancy – special licensing facilities to cater for a variable numbers of consultants using the system each month.
What a practice wants from a practice management system varies. To meet the needs of varying size practices we have 3 editions available.
Mini edition is a practice management solution optimised for practices with 6 employees or below. This edition has a simple and competitive per user price structure, yet users can take advantage of the range of optional modules and can even be upgraded to standard or enterprise should the need arise.
Standard edition provides a complete solution to all the key tasks of Practice Management, but without the configuration options commonly required by larger, more complex practices.
Enterprise edition delivers increased configuration facilities and augments the standard version’s functions with additional modules that offer greater integration of day to day management of a practice. These additional modules – together with a few that are optional to both editions – can be added to the standard version using extension modules.
We offer a range of optional extension modules that allow you to extend the system to include additional functions as and when you need them. These include a Holiday / year planner, remote client and remote office facilities, accounts package integration and others.
To avoid duplication of input and streamline information flow, you can opt to link Noveos Practice Manager with your accounts package. Currently there is support for Sage Instant Accounts and Sage 50 with Quick Books support in the pipeline.
