Software Updates

April 2026

Our second release of 2026 (2026.2) is available for all users. We encourage all users to apply the latest update, all subscription and support packages include this update.

  • Quickbooks: improved for Quickbooks invoice fields including custom fields, email address settings and payment terms.
  • Quickbooks: multiple invoices can be posted to Quickbooks in a single batch.
  • Jobs: new notes facility with full history and management facilities.
  • Prospects: prospect booked in date can be managed independently from the job booked in date.
  • Prospects: the prospect conversion date can now be overridden.
  • Milestones: new progression screens have been developed to monitor and manage job and prospect progression through milestone templates.
  • Holiday planner: significant performance improvements have been made to the employee holiday planner and holiday management screens.
  • Wellbeing: a full suite of wellbeing monitoring tools has been added with options to fully customise the presentation of employee wellbeing monitoring.
  • Resourcing: employee resourcing now provides a full notes facility.
  • Job types: added code field and the ability to nest job types in a parent/child relationship.
  • Project types: added code field and the ability to nest project types in a parent/child relationship.

January 2026

Our first release of 2026 (2026.1) is available for all users. We encourage all users to apply the latest update, all subscription and support packages include this update.

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA): all applications have been updated to respect a new suite of multi-factor authentication processes.
  • Passwords: new password rules have been implemented together with password monitoring and analysis to allow practices to improve the security of their user logins.
  • Jobs: analysis tags can be assigned to all jobs.
  • Quickbooks: support organisations where sales tax is disabled.

 

October 2025

Our third release of 2025 (2025.3) is available for all users. We encourage all users to apply the latest update, all subscription and support packages include this update.

  • Holiday planner: the approval process has been streamlined to improve speed and efficiency.
  • Invoicing: combined reports can now be printed or exported to PDF, merging the invoice with an optional detail report to produce a single document.
  • Jobs: approval process.
  • Resource planning: work can now be planned for all resources from the stage level using curve allocations.

 

July 2025

  • Milestones: milestone type maintenance and assignment.
  • Milestones: enhanced permissions to control edit and completion of milestones.
  • Job schedule: full schedule overview of milestones and scheduled invoices.
  • Invoice scheduling: schedule calculation as a proportion of the stage fee.
  • Speed and usability enhancements across holiday planner, invoice scheduling and resource planning.

 

March 2025

Our first major release of 2025 (2025.1) is available for all users.

  • Tasks: full task management by job and stage.
  • Tasks: task templates can be created and applied to any stage.
  • Tasks: time, notes and progress can be recorded per task.
  • Milestones: templates can be created and applied to any stage.
  • Resource Planning: improvements to employee resource loading views.
  • Resource Planning: planned work can be reassigned between any role or employee.
  • Invoicing: the default invoice up to date can be controlled using a new system setting. New options include current date, last day of the month, first Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri of the month and last Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri of the month.

 

November 2024

Our third release of 2024 (2024.3) is complete and available for all users. 

This release delivers significant advancements in resource planning, among a range of other feature improvements:

  • Resource Planning: milestone management, including interim, blocking and deadline milestones at the job and stage level.
  • Resource Planning: improved job role budget calculation options.
  • Resource Planning: improved employee team and office filtering options.
  • Resource Planning: work plan gantt layout and filter improvements.
  • Reports: a complete update to the report preview window interface.
  • Invoicing: full and financial credit management is available to all users of the interactive invoicing functions.
  • Invoicing: significant improvements to the management of unposted or unallocated time.
  • Invoice schedule: notes recording and management at the job and stage levels.
  • CPD: handling of structured and unstructured CPD.
